Chris & Rachel have been beyond amazing... I couldn't have picked a more difficult time to renovate an apartment in Didsbury/Manchester. Starting the project in Jan and completing August, as a team (and I say that because that's exactly what it felt like) we had to deal with delays with supplies, COVID isolation, illness, and much more. However throughout, communication was excellent and we dealt with each situation with humour and clear next steps. This was my first project, after returning to Manchester, I took on the apartment knowing I wanted to really go for it.

Chris not only supported some crazy ideas, he also told me to wind my neck in if they were getting out of hand. The team also included Harry & Tom, a new apprentice all highly skilled, great people, respectful and super tidy. Letting me ask questions, I've learnt such a lot. The Contractors, Chris brings in have so much respect for him and his standards are high .. a few things were not to his satisfaction (I was okay with them) but Chris had to rectify as he just couldn't leave something if not right.

Even when I had one room to live in, Chris made sure I was always comfortable - had access to utilities to make the really dusty and dirty stage as easy as possible. Payment for the work was paid throughout, at a steady rate which was great for managing budget.

I had so much fun doing this... and actually missed them when they had to jump on another job. Yes the project took longer than expected but at no fault of Chris and the team... in his words 'It is what it is'. I now have this phrase on my shelves to remind me of Chris and his team, now I have new friends and will be going out for a drink with them - if they'll have me!

Chris, Rachel, Harry, Tom and the rest of the team... THANK YOU you've help make my new start in Manchester again a fantastic one... I LOVE my apartment and enjoy showing it off... now I have the perfect party apartment !

The job was to install a glass roof over an outside courtyard area and move a downstairs bathroom according to architect plans in a period property. From day one Chris has been totally professional and easy to work with, keeping us well informed from the start. Working closely with our architect and us through out, he has made a challenging job much easier. Chris and his team have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem solving skills, essential in older properties, (in our experience no job is ever straight forward), this set him and his team apart. We contacted Chris when we were in the process of buying our dilapidated 1960s bungalow a year ago. We could see the potential for making a beautiful home but wanted an experts advice and Chris immediately saw the vision that we did and told us that he could do what we wanted and that he would love to take on the challenge.

​From that point on Chris and his Business Manager (and wife) Rachel guided us through the process of architects building control planning permission etc and as soon as everything was in place we were given a start date and everything went smoothly from there. Rachel drew up a payment schedule which was staged to coincide with each phase of the renovation and this worked well as we knew exactly where we were at all times. Chris & Rachel also project managed everything including dealing with suppliers of fittings and fixtures that we sourced in addition to giving us sound advice on some of our ideas and bringing their own to the table.

​Chris has a team of great professional craftsmen who worked their socks off for us and they were on site every working day. It was a big project but it went very smoothly with no issues and this was all down to Chris and his team. We now have a totally transformed modern bungalow finished to a very high spec and we are thrilled to bits. We cannot praise Chris highly enough and if you are thinking of asking Chris to carry out a project on your home get him to ask Rachel to contact us and arrange for you to come and see our home. Chris and Rachel worked so hard to give us our dream home. They are the best.
